The painting shown shows a floral bouquet gathered in a riser resting on a stone tray and whose composition is distinguished by its elegant structure, associated with the characteristic freshness and brilliance of the colors. The painting should be referred to a Flemish school painter who was active at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries, and especially in the style of Jean Baptiste Bosschaert who, with Gaspar Peeter Verbruggen I (1635-1681), was considered one of the main representatives of the late baroque painting school of Antwerp.
The still lifes produced by the two masters are enhanced by the bright colors of the flowers, as well as by the intense lighting that creates a three-dimensional impression and a unique depth.
