Jef Clerens : "the Merchand Of Four-seasons" flag

Object description :

"Jef Clerens : "the Merchand Of Four-seasons""
I continue to explore my cartons in the back of the shop and regularly discover small wonders such as watercolor enhanced by gouache by the Belgian artist Jef Clerens born in 1875.
She describes a saleswoman of four seasons pushing his cart on the pavement of a street with old houses. Worked on a very thin paper, she was stuck on a cardboard which she began to detach by curling down in the middle.
Two horizontal accidents (folds? Cuts?) In the lower third.
Large format: 58 X 39.5 cm. Circa 1920.
Feel free to ask us by email or phone for additional information or photos.
We have many objects and paintings to restore in our shop / capharnaüm / deposit of Pau where I let myself a little invade and for which we favor the sale on the spot, preferably in lots.
Come help us tidy up buying! Other photos and many other objects in our shops in Pau and Biarritz and on our website: galerielhoste.com.
