Indonesian, 2 Betel Nutcrackers, Wrought Iron Scissors, Animal Figural, 19thc Or Earlier

Nice lot consisting of two wrought iron tools, betel nutcrackers. Used for the consumption of betel nut (or areca nut) the tools are composed of two handles connecting the body of the item, itself equipped with an iron pin to connect the two parts, and a blade to crack the nut. One is crafted to represent the body of a horse and smaller in size, while the other is free-form and larger in size.
Antique working (probably) Indonesian, dating from the 19th century or earlier ..
Items have lived and are unfortunately not in mint condition, look at my detailed photos, I do not hide anything!
