SOUTH INDIA. XVIIIth CENTURY. Ritual spoon in Pûjâ (prayer, daily offering in Hinduism), bronze with brown patina, figuring Krishna dancing to subjugate the serpent Kaliyah. The upper part of the spoon connected to the handle, flanked by two birds of paradise and the star-shaped spoon with eight branches. Good condition.
