"Great Nineteenth Banner"Large Orchestra Banner in carmine silk velvet finely embroidered with gold and silver threads. It is decorated with applique decorations depicting a crown and standards. The perimeter is embroidered with foliage decorations and bunches of grapes. Very good quality of execution and quality materials. Strong decorative impact. It is attached to the orchestra or choir named Orphéon Saint Etienne, active in the city of Ille (Eastern Pyrenees) in the second half of the nineteenth century (dated 1862).
