"Porcelain Tea And Coffee Service From Meissen"
Important tea and coffee service in white porcelain molded decoration basketry in the mass, and adorned with floral basket, plant and flowers, painted camaïeu manganese and embellished with gilding. It includes a coffee maker, a teapot, a sugar bowl, a bowl, 4 cups and saucers and 4 cups and saucers. The whole is marked in gold, on the back of the two crossed swords surmounted by a star (mark of Marcolini). Good condition of the whole; note a restoration to the grip of the coffee maker, a égrenure on a saucer, and a saucer broken and glued. (See 4 last photos). Marcolini took over the Meissen factory from 1774 to 1816 and introduced a Japanese style. Meissen, first half of the 19th century
