Pierre de Verclos, 1886 1950 moved to Tunisia around 1921-1922 and decided to create a ceramics workshop in Nabeul where there is a very old tradition in the art of pottery. His workshop, which he calls "la Fabrique", is gaining momentum. It diffuses what was called at the time the "artistic pottery". Pottery decorated with colorful patterns drawn from the Tunisian heritage: that of ceramics of the 18th century.
