Henry D'ANTY demonstrates that Expressionism can also be a painter attached to the work on the motive, like the example of his neo-impressionist colleagues. Parisian pure juice, it is fixed at maturity in Montmartre which he will not move. In the 50s, he abandoned the black and white and the graphics of his learning to access the sites and atmospheres of the capital from which emerged gradually colors and light. A raw material deposits admirable colors, obstinacy secret and passionate. The figure and the real remain, but matter and color predominate, taking the eye that looks towards the universe of lyricism and pure emotion.
