Signature on the lower left "G Bonnemaison" inscription on the back: a corner of the garden around Paris dimensions: with frame (lacks): 45 x 38 cm of the canvas: 30.2 x 23.5 cm Georges Bonnemaison: Painter of landscapes and animals. Born in Toulouse early XIX - died in 1885. This artist studied with Theodore Rousseau, Georges Michel and Corot. He was one of the first tenants of the Ganne inn in Barbizon.
