Rare console, in mahogany and satinwood veneer and with encrusted brass elements of the Directoire period. The fore feet, inlaid with satinwood threads, are decorated with antique women, carved in the mass. Carrara marble. Parisian work of the Revolution period. The Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris keeps a model very close (see images). Condition Report: Restored in our workshop in May-June 2019, buffer varnish . Small marble restoration and lock reported to be mentioned.
