Meina Persian carpet of the Hériz family, Iran circa 1930. Wool from the highlands on cotton, hand-knotted, natural color, for about 250,000 knots per square meter.
This carpet has incredible color shades, developed over time and very warm shades, red, orange, beige and pinkish beige in contrast with blues, dark gray and black, makes it very bright.
A beautiful patina called Abrash, light on herbal dyes and the effect of time and we get a carpet out of time that does not fit the criteria of collector, amateur but especially decorators who break the codes with carpets that do not look like any other.

From the small town of Heriz, about 50 kilometers east of Tabriz, with its neighbor Ghorovan, come some of the most recognizable carpets of the Persians. Mainly in the medallion design on a brick red background color, the curvilinear designs so typical of Persia have no place in the Heriz product.
