R 13 Pierre Chapo Sideboard

Sideboard of Pierre Chapo, model R 13 in solid elm. Pierre Chapo (1927-1987) was born in Paris. He etched architecture at the Ecole Nationalenale des Beaux Arts. He travels to the US and discovers the work of the designer Frank Loyd Wright. Back in Paris he founded his company in Clamart and an art gallery in Paris where he exhibited his creations and other creators. A lover of wood, he creates a line of extremely structured furniture with a very neat finish. In the 60s, he won several awards in exhibitions and affirms his personality. He continues his work in Gordes in Provence during the 70/80 years.
