Carpet Kazak Caucasus, Russia wool on cotton, hand-knotted for about 300 000 knots M2, decorated with three octagons placed on a field of deep red.We find in this beautiful carpet, all the tribal patterns, star Medes centered in octagons, hooks, stylized spiders and a large border abundantly flowery eyelets on a red background, white or blue, predominant colors on this velvet carpet silky and flawless in perfect condition. Yellow is present in small touches. Long before, these carpets were knotted by nomadic tribes who are today largely settled and gathered in workshops that during the production of our model were state workshops, but the sets, patterns and colors and knotting techniques remain those used for many generations.
