Oak frame. frame dimensions 56 x 62 cm. the gouache, 50 x 56 cm. Monogrammed lower right and signed on the back. Léon Emmanuel Govaerts (1891-1970) is a Belgian architect of the Art Deco and Modernist period who was active in Brussels. He realized among others: (1924 - 1928), Alice House and David van Buuren, currently a Museum. 1930: Hotel Esperance & Art-deco Tavern rue du Finistère, 1-3 1000 Brussels. 1935: avenue Franklin Roosevelt 96a (with Alexis Van Vaerenbergh): current Embassy of the Republic of Colombia in Belgium. 1950 The Reserve at Knokke.
