Adorable white marble bust after Houdon: the bust of Louise Brongiart dating from the nineteenth century.
It is therefore the white marble bust of Louise Brongniard (1772-1845), the daughter of the architect of the Palais de la Bourse in Paris.
this bust was commissioned to Jean-Antoine Houdon (1741-1828) and is now preserved in the Louvre Museum.
Here is a copy in direct size of the late nineteenth century executed after Houdon and signed on the back.
