Oil on wood panel depicting a view of Saint Thurial's campaign entitled "When the baker warmed his oven".
Saint-Thurial is a French commune located in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine region and Britain. It is also part of the community of communes of Brocéliande and the Country of Brocéliande, territory known for its forest, its legends and its landscapes. Between two valleys, lies the town of the town, with the typical architecture of the region, red shale stone.
Pierre Chevillard (1908-1991) is a painter of recognized and renowned having much painted Brittany and his works are sought by the collectors of the Breton school.
