Clock in gilt bronze mercury Restoration period around 1820. signed "Coudelou La Rochelle" watchmaker referenced in the Tardy, dictionary of French watchmakers. On the theme of arts and sciences decor two young students draped in the antique. Framing a library where is inscribed the dial surmounted by a globe and mathematical instruments. Chiselled rectangular base of an illustration of the main theme in bas-relief.

Original mechanism without modification, suspension silk thread, hour and half hour bell on old bell.

Pendulum of excellent manufacture, Perfect authenticity as well as a remarkable state of conservation.
