Peruzzini was a prominent figure in the landscape painting of the seventeenth-eighteenth century.Starting from a seventeenth-century expression on influences of Salvator Rosa, he arrive at a free interpretation of the sense of movement and color typical of the Rococo, using brighter, brighter and more striking colour ranges, lightening the touch, inserting a sort of movement and vitality in his paintings and making the atmosphere more gay and light.
The paintings have important Bolognese frames in carved and gilded wood.
