"Housewife Christofle Model Cluny 58 Pieces"
Housewife Christofle, Cluny model of 58 pieces. Timeless, with very pure lines, it is in new condition. The table cutlery (soup spoons and table forks) have never been taken out of their original blister bearing the Christofle brand. We have unpacked two for the photo. The other rooms are all new. This service dates from the 1970s and only the boxes are a bit disfigured. In the form pieces we have a spoon and a salad fork, a soup ladle and a smaller ladle, a fat-lean spoon very useful for removing fat from sauces, a fork and a shovel to serve the fish, Serving Fork and Stewed Spoon. Cluny is one of the great models of French classic cutlery born in the 18th century. It appears in Christofle from the first catalog in 1862 under the name of uni. Its current form, slightly redrawn dates from 1964.
