Object description :

"Pharmacy Pots Or Ointments (pair Of) Late 18th Century Era"
Very nice pair of pots with a rich central floral decoration (roses, tulips, greenery etc.) in shades of roses and greens. The colors and style are typical of the region of North-East France, perhaps Lunéville. Another decor also simpler on the back of each representing a bouquet of flowers. They are violin-shaped, mounted on shower feet and decorated with a pink piping on the collar. No cover at the origin: no wear on the edge of the collar. These pots with thick edges were covered with skins or stretched fabrics held by tight ties on the curved part located under the neck. Note: a small old restoration on the edge of one of the pots, 2 chips glued approximately 10 mm, luckily they are in the back; as well as a small chip at the base. See photo details. To note: Very interesting to be able to own a pair of this model not current. Total height: 20.5 cm. Base diameter: 10.5 cm. Neck diameter: 11 and 11.5 cm. Max width: about 13.5 cm Free shipping for Metropolitan France
