Object description :

"Showcase Two Corps, "argentier", Regency Period, Louis XV, XVIII."
Small furniture two bodies showcase presentation, carved oak eighteenth century Regency-Louis XV. Furniture from the north of France or Flanders, in very good condition. - The window portion includes 24 small old tiles including 16 the door and 4 on each side. Those at the top are in perfect harmony with the set. Four levels allow presentations including 3 shelves with violated edges. The interior, the bottom and the shelves are white in origin. - The lower part has a door decorated at its center with a powerful blazon in a frame of a wreath of Marquis carved surmounting a rich interlacing forming the nobiliary figure just as powerful and falling to the spandrels on two bunches of acanthus. This figure was formally the owner's signature. These interlacings were called "hive" until the beginning of the 18th century. A signature of this kind required a long apprenticeship, the purpose of which was to protect the recognition, identity and authenticity of its owner to the outside and in the deeds and all written documents.
