"United France" (Union Nationale Inter Syndicale) is not a brand but a label registered in 1916 and which guarantees that the product is made in France. Germany being a big doll maker, and in view of political events in 1916, it was better to be sure of the origin. This acronym is also on various products (combs, boxes etc ...) These dolls are usually marked "United France" with three numbers: the left is the union number, in the middle of the mold number and right the manufacturer's number. Thus, the marking 71- 301- 149 means: 71 for toy union / mold 301. / 149: number of the factory SFBJ. The UNIS FRANCE acronym will be applied on the productions of the SFBJ until the end of the existence of the company in 1963.
