Arne Hovmand Olsen (1919-1989)was a Danish designer who met success in United States in 1960s. He did his woodworking apprenticeship then went to furniture conception studies. He opened his own workshop by creating Scandinavian modern style furniture characterized by refined lines, simple curves and conical legs.
