Huge Japonist Ceramic Lamp, Ca 1880 French Bronze Mounting.

Decorative oil lamp quite enormous: 66cm x 26cm, weight: 7.7kg, inspired by Japonism around 1880, Japan ceramic vase or maybe enamelled by Collinot, signed Japanese style on background, Orientalist Parisian gilt bronze mount. This kind of article was found at Perret-Vibert, and in the great orientalist Parisian galleries.
A large ceramic vase enamelled champlevé with Japanese characters in shades of blue, mounted bronze, (pedestals, collar and masks elephants), and placed inside, removable, an embossed brass oil lamp, in good order, with wick, burner of G.Soleil and D.Ditmar, it has never been electrified. I do not have the glass .... The whole is in good condition: no apparent flaw. By dismounting the mount, however, we see a bottom crack, (photo) almost invisible once reassembled.
