Scalloped apron adorned in its centre by flowers and foliage.Armrest supports in the legs lines with a decor of large acanthus leaves. Full armrests finished by acanthus leaves.Basket shaped back divided in three parts by curved moulded mounts with a decor of leaves, scrolls and a central motif of flowers and foliage.
Red silk trim by Rubelli, BARBARIGO reference, CORALLO colour, with motifs of foliage scrolls, adorned with a similar colour trimming. Rubelli is historical Venetian fabric manufacture and was created in the late 19th century with now workshops in Cuccagio, Italy, in the former Zanchi workshops. This Manufacture produces high quality and luxury fabrics, also used for La Scala or La Fenice theaters.Work realized circa 1880.
