Rare and exceptional suite of six walnut armchairs, covered with their original tapestry with floral motifs. Each chair is carved with acanthus leaves, shells, foliage and an x spacer, also carved with a large crossette. Each tapestry is different but always on the theme of flowers. Suite of six ceremonial chairs, era of the Regency, around 1720, Ile de France, first half of the eighteenth century. His armchairs in the eighteenth century were called "Furnishing" seats because they were placed along the walls. In perfect condition, each tapestry was dismantled and cleaned.
