Henri Courvoisier-Voisin & Pierre-Charles Coqueret, signed.
Colors print untitled “View of Paris n°12 From the Pont au Change, Notre-Dame and the Pont Marie took between the Pontneuf and the Pont au Change”. It represents a view of the Seine with boats sailing on it. It’s crossed by two bridges on which we find riders, pedestrians and carriages. On every side, we recognize different monuments from Paris : on the left side, the Saint-Jacques Tower, on the right side, the Clock Tower near the Conciergerie on l’Ile de la Cité.

Print signed “Courvoisier del.” At the bottom left and “Coqueret sculp.” at the bottom right. At the bottom, next to the margin : “Deposited to the bookshop direction”.

Work realized during Empire by the engraver Pierre-Charles Coqueret (1761-1832) from a drawing by Henri Courvoisier-Voisin (1756-1804).

It takes part of a set of 15 chiselled and aquatinted prints colours of views of Paris and near surroundings, realized before 1830.
