Object description :

"XVIIIth Venetian Engraved Mirror"
XVIIIth Venetian mirror engraved. He represents Ceres goddess of agriculture and harvest carrying a cornucopia filled with ears of wheat and equipped with a shovel. It is dominated by a lambrequin. Arabesques and engraved bubbles decorate the perimeter of the mirror. The whole of the gilded frame is carved with flowers, foliage, crests of cock and molded. A perforated clip at the top and a staple at the base of the frame. Slight trace of accident on the gilded wood see photo 3.
