ABRAHAM RADEMAKER (Smooth 1676 - Haarlem 1735) DUTCH SCHOOL DUPLEX OF THE XVIIIth CENTURY. "View of Italian City" Watercolor signed lower left. Empire period gilt wood frame with palmettes, label on the back of the framer Fanzvoll N ° 17 Trade passage in the Faubourg Saint-Germain in Paris. Dimensions: Watercolor alone: height 15.3 cm x length 18.8 cm. Frame: height 26.5 cm x length 30 cm. Abraham Rademaker (1677 - 21 January 1735) was an 18th century painter and engraver from the north of the Netherlands. He was a versatile artist who painted Italian landscapes, but he is best known for his many cityscapes and his drawings of buildings that were engraved and printed in several famous publications of the time in particular "Cabinet der Nederlandsche Oudheeden in gesigten vervat in drie hondert konst plaaten te te koop bij Willem Baretnz "which contained 300 engravings, book published in 1724 in three languages by the publisher Willem Barentz. Abraham Rademaker entered the Guild of St. Luke of Haarlem in 1732.
