Very Large Lantern Napoleon III Gilt Bronze

Important lantern called vestibule Napoleon III - Dimensions: 98 cm high X 46 cm wide - Cylindrical shaped bronze and gilded bronze with four thick domed glasses (5mm thick) decorated with a chiseled radiating pattern, the bronze frame is animated with an elegant neoclassical decoration in a Louis XVI vocabulary composed of four pillars with rows of pearls, a belt at the base and summit decorated with an important motif simulating a ribbon wound in a spiral around a beam, the whole is enriched with pine cones, the bail cache punctuated by acanthus leaves supported by the amounts of movement and a falling three lights.
