A very nice animated scene, well composed and detailed. A beautiful color palette, a beautiful rendering of water! The painting dates from the first half of the nineteenth century around 1840. Condition: on its original canvas probably from the house Colcomb-Bourgeois, supplier of material for artists, who exercised in 1839 under the sign "Au Spectrum Solar" but no mark appears on the back of the canvas. It is stretched on its original key frame and will be delivered in a nineteenth frame in wood and gilded stucco identical to that of his previously sold for sale. The set is in very good condition.
