Rodolphe Paul Wytsman is a landscape painter, draftsman, engraver, student at the Academies of Ghent and Brussels. He moved to Italy between 1882 and 1883. He settled in Linkebeek, under the influence of A Verwee, he executed realistic landscapes. His style evolves towards impressionism before joining the luminism.
