Object description :

"Georges Bouche, Wildflowers In A Blue Vase"
Georges Bouche, reacting against the harmonious facilities of the Post-Impressionists and the Fauves, tries to prove that the excess of color is likely to kill the light. Through a rough paste, it obtains an effect of lightness and transparency. In 1902, he exhibited for the first time and regularly participated in the Salon d'automne, the Salon des Independants and the National. He is represented at the exhibition "Independent Masters 1895-1937" at the Petit Palais in Paris. Georges Bouche is at the Museum of Modern Art in Troyes, Pierre Levy Collection.
