Beautiful work of the painter Eugène Berthelon which represents a unbridled sea at Tréport.
The artist was able to recreate a stormy atmosphere, with dark weather and a turbulent sea hitting the rocks of the coast.
Pupil Eugène Lavieille and Etienne-Posper Bern-Bellecour, Eugene Berthelon is a painter of landscapes and seascapes. It executes views of the forest of Fontainebleau and Brittany including Tréport. From 1864 until his death, he participated in the Paris Salon where his work will be rewarded on different occasions.
