Rare Miniature Ivoiry George Hayter Ec. English Portrait Young Woman Landscape Jane Elysabeth Countess Of Ellenborough

Remarkable miniature painting on Ivory , of the 19th century, signed at the right corner (Sir) George Hayter, famous English painter and engraver, representing a very graceful bust portrait of a young woman of quality in a landscape. Very delicate details are to be observed : roses on the left, vegetation in the background on the right, refinement of the folds of the fabrics and ribbons of the dress matched with the pink silk stole resting on the back of the chair. The miniature is in its Louis XVI style frame decorated with ribbon and beads. It could be a portrait of Louise Marie d'Orléans. The set is in very good condition, see photos above.
