"Empire Clock '' Jason & The Golden Fleece ''"
Rare museum clock depicting Jason and the Golden Fleece. Chiseled and gilded bronze with matt gold and shiny gold. Empire period. Enamelled dial signed "Dubois and Son" with large and small ringtones. Inscribed in a stylized tree trunk. At the feet of Jason lies the dragon. Campan green marble base, resting on small claw feet. Directly inspired by the expedition of the Argonauts: the conquest of the Golden Fleece by Jason to reach the throne of Iolcos, city of Thessaly whose father was once the ruler.
