Founder of the Léveillé house in 1869 at 74 boulevard Haussmann in Paris. 1885: acquisition of the house E. Rousseau, merchant-publisher of porcelains and crystals, and exploitation of the funds from 1886 to 1890 under the name of "Maison Rousseau and Leveille joined", become "E. Leveillé" at the death of Rousseau en 1890. Store transferred in 1899 to 140 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. 1902: association with the toy house, porcelain and crystal case, under the name "Toy and Leveille Houses", at 10 rue de la Paix in Paris.
