Work presented: Drawing pastel bold color called "crayolor" on paper (28.5 X 40 cm) "Saxophonist" signed lower right "Gen Paul" Original work done around 1960. Note: Gen Paul discovers the pastels bold "NEOCOLOR" CARAN D'ACHE in Geneva in 1953. He was one of the first to use them: easy to handle, fluids, strong in color: they were perfectly suited to his gestural style. Framed work: Under UV anti-reflective glass, protected on the back by a non-acidic backing board. Brown wood molding with golden interior edge.
