18th Century Barock Snuffbox: Trompe l'Oeil Of Precious Chest

Charming copper and brass snuffbox, it is in the shape of a Rhenish wedding chest, of Baroque period, with its domed lid, its brass swivel handles, its carved rocaille ornamentation, the interior is silver plate, the panels are lacquered in the likeness of the Blood Jasper. A superb object, German snuffbox, first half of the eighteenth century.
Condition: Fairly good, but there are small deformations, wear to the lacquered parts, one of the closing ring is incomplete . The lacquer may have been redone or retouched, but it is superb. Tel 0665241111
