"Glazed Terracotta Lamp. Art Deco Period"Glazed terracotta azure lamp, representing on each side, the profile of a woman, dressed in a long flowing dress.
Art Deco period.
This lamp is undeniably reminiscent of René Buthaud, a famous ceramist painter (1886-1986).
Like Auguste Delaherche, Jean Carriès, Emile Lenobleou and Jean Mayodon, he contributed to renew the art of Ceramics, returning to an artisanal approach.
His work is mainly made of staniferous faience, decorated with portraits, female silhouettes or bathers.
This lamp is in very good condition, two égrenures.
