"Daum Candy Box In Crystal And Silver. Circa 1870-1890."
Daum Box crystal blown and worked with acid. The box is decorated alternately green and opaque crystal headband decorated with clovers etched with acid or left in reserve enhanced with red enamel and gold. The box is set in a silver mount mounts taking on his neck and base the clover patterns. The box with the hinged lid probably had the use of being a candy box or cakes. Signed DAUM NANCY and cross of Lorraine.
Enamelled signature gold.
Silver marks: head of minerve.
