Interesting couple of landscapes signed by G.Ferrari (Rome 1840 - Rieti 1905), landscape painter and portraitist is considered one of the best representatives of the Roman era of the nineteenth century. Fascinated by the bright landscapes of North Africa and the Middle East, he studied the paintings of William Turner and John Costable, confirming his interest in research in luminism. In the late nineteenth century, he joined the group "in arte libertas" and the group of "XXV of the Roman campaign", movements opposed to the academicism of the capital.
