"Louis XVI Console"Console of small dimensions in gilded wood and rechampi, brown marble recessed marble top of languedoc or belgian. This 18th century console is probably an Italian work. The belt is pierced with interlacing with a central carved carved of different attributes. At the front a trumpet, a flail, a basket of fruits. In the back a quiver, an arrow, a trumpet, a scepter. The gained legs adorned with pearls are surmounted by a capital. they are joined by an H spacer with a bouquet in the center. To note: some restorations in the moldings and thus retouches on the gilding, three holes on the underside of the marble visible on the photos.
