"Mabre Early Nineteenth, After Michelangelo's David, French School"
Important sculpture in mabre of carrara, representing the "david" of Micel-Angel, dating from the very beginning of the 19th century, belonging to the French school of sculpture. The "David" by Michelangelo is a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture, made by Michelangelo between 1501 and 1504. Michelangelo represented "David", a sling (leather strap used as a stone slingshot) ) in the hand, just before his fight against the giant "Goliath". Our sculpture is a fine example of inspiration both by the mannerism and the nervousness of the movement. In perfect condition ; Dimensions: Height: 64 cm, Length: 20 cm, Depth: 15 cm.
