Dresser Shape Tomb, Louis XV eighteenth century, curved all sides, rosewood veneer and purple wood, opening with 4 drawers on 3 rows, decorated with beautiful handles prints, entries of locks, lamp base and bronze falls gilt and gold chiseled. Gray veined marble top. Stamped AM CRIAERD and stamp of JME. Antoine Mathieu CRIAERD around 1724 - December 24, 1787 Master April 22, 1747 Eldest son of Mathieu Criaerd, he worked successively rue de Charenton, rue Richelieu, rue Saint-Thomas-du-Louvre and finally in 1771, rue du Bac in Paris. Antoine Mathieu would have received orders from the court, through the cabinetmaker Joubert, supplier of the Royal Garde-Meuble.
