Object description :

"Maurice Dainville (1856-1943) "
GREAT pair of oils / cartons Maurice Dainville representing gardens views to Itteville, unsigned but from his studio, one has his studio stamp on the back. Formats out of frame: 13x18cm for the 1st and 12x18cm for the second. It is therefore two magnificent post-impressionist compositions, typical of the Dainville way of painting, with a powerful touch and a very impressionist clear palette. The first oil represents bushes and flowers under foliage with a beautiful point of light in horizon point, in beautiful shades of red, green, yellow and ocher. It only has the Maurice Dainville brand on the back; In perfect condition. The second represents a flower garden with a fence horizon point, ditto, beautiful colorful palette. It has on the back the stamp of the workshop sale, in perfect condition too, cardboard very slightly veiled in the corners. These two works were certainly painted in Itteville in Essonne where the painter often liked to plant his easel. Painter born and died in Paris, member of the Jullian Academy. He liked to paint in the suburbs of Paris, but like any great painter who respects himself he also traveled a lot, he went to Brittany very often Concarneau, Douarnenez etc ... in Normandy etc ... Several studio sales were made to him. devoted. These two oils are in very good condition, both delivered in beautiful modern golden frames. I guarantee them 100% authentic, invoice completed on demand. The price is for the 2, I could possibly mismatch for 150 € piece, which would still be a pity.
