François Charles Baude was born in 1880 in Houplines and died in 1953 in Armentières. It is a painter of genre, figures, portraits, landscapes and interiors. He was a student of the Beaux Arts in Paris, the Académie Julian and Marcel Baschet. He won several awards. From 1905 he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français. It is exhibited in museums in Paris, Armentieres, Bucharest.
