In 1854, he joined his brother Félix to create the Tournachon Company, Nadar Jne et Cie. They sign during this period "Nadar Jne". The success comes quickly after the series of Debureau mime photographs, photos used to advertise the company that accompanies its transfer Boulevard des Italiens to receive customers. At the end of 1855, the company was dissolved and Felix moved to 113 rue Saint-Lazare. The brothers using the same nickname Nadar, came a trial ending in the defeat of Adrien in 1858, forcing him to take his name from Tournachon to sign his works: "Ad. Tournachon Jne, 17 B Italians" (signature from our photography) until 1862 when our artist became artistic director of the Joannes society. According to Anne de Mondenard and Marc Pagneux, Adrien photographed the most famous personalities under Napoleon III, including Gustave Doré, Horace Vernet, the painter Meisonnier ... and literature, Lamartine, Vigny Dumas ... The photographs of the mime Deburau made his success. From 1856 he took photographs of the patients of Dr. Duchenne de Boulogne. He became the official photographer of the Salon de l'agriculture in Paris and their imperial majesties and his Imperial Highness Princess Matilde.
