Object description :

"Dresser And Secretary Sold Together Or Separately"
Furniture set consisting of a chest of drawers and a secretary from the Louis XVI period, where the veneer of flamed elm and amaranth contrast.
The frame is in oak. The top is in white marble underlined by a groove.
- The chest of drawers opens with three drawers, the elm part of which (wavy light wood) is in relief, cut into the corners which are surmounted by round relief motifs whose entourage is in amaranth (dark wood).
The uprights in protruding tables (flats with sharp angles) are enhanced with a light wood edge.
The sides are also executed in the two contrasting woods.
The top drawer is separated by a protruding crosspiece.
It rests on sheath feet with four sides in relief.
- The secretary opens with a drawer, a flap revealing a "cassetin" and three drawers in the lower part.
It is sheathed in black leather enhanced with a golden sticker.
Made on the same model as the chest of drawers, in flamed elm and amaranth veneer, it offers the same particularities.
The set can be sold separately.
