Subject: Element of adornment of a witch costume in openwork human bone, worn by some mediums to exorcise evil. The character undoubtedly represents a deity of the Buddhist pantheon. Material: Os. Origin: Tibet, attributed to the 19th century. State: Excellent. Dimensions: Similar bone sculptures exist at the Leiden Museum. Parallels: H_12.7 cm. L_3,5 cm. Provenance: Personal Collection, Tibet 1989.
